Happy New Year. I'm finally rising from the cooking, eating, drinking, celebrating stupor and getting back to a routine for the new year ahead.
First off, a few December projects to share. In a last minute wave of inspiration I switched gears before the holidays and started knitting hats for the family.
Since bringing Matthew home in a little cap knit by some kind ladies at the hospital, we've been joking about the gender-neutral white, pinkish-lilac and baby blue colour pallet. So a new 'manly' hat was long overdue. I swear that our little guy actually smiles every time I put it on him. I'm not exaggerating - you can see it in his eyes!
