September brought so many warm days when she was here and I'm afraid you've caught me a little unprepared. But since you'll be staying for a few weeks, why don't you help me cast on my first pair of socks - hopefully we can get those toes covered up before November comes calling.
And just look at that soft, lovely yarn - that'll do just fine. (yes, I'm sure the neighbours are talking about the crazy lady who drags her kids out front to hide wool and take pictures)
Socktoberfest you say? What a great idea. I'll get right over and join at Lolly's place, or maybe over here at Ravelry.Oh, this is going to be a good month. I can just feel it.

I'm hoping the cooler weather will be the swift kick that gets me finsihing up the socks I've had on the needles since last winter.
