26 Post Challenge (Q)

A sunny Friday that is expected to reach 24 degrees! Woo hoo

Feeling a little lazy (and getting ready to go out and enjoy that weather) so I'm going to take an easy out and make Q for Quotes - knitting quotes that is.

  • "Knit your hearts with an unslipping knot." (William Shakespeare - Antony & Cleopatra)
  • "A #6 aluminum needle has been known to furnish an excellent emergency shearpin for an outboard motor." (Elizabeth Zimmerman)
  • "May every stitch you knit bring you a little closer to that calm, clear space in the center of your soul." (Earth Heart Designs)
  • "It took me years and years of trial efforts to work out that there is absolutely no knitting triumph I can achieve that my husband will think is worth being woken up for." (Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much)
  • "In through the front door, once around the back. Peek through the window and off jumps Jack!" (Susan Kranz - Chants for Children on Learning to Knit)
  • "I'm in therapy and sewing is cheaper than a psychiatrist." (Author Unknown)

And a brief interruption to regularly scheduled blogging to announce that sometime a new haircut is just what a girl needs. Oh...and shoes...we need shoes...many many pairs of shoes.
(look - I'm almost appearing on my own blog and there wasn't even a pancake involved)
