Years ago we planted an ornamental pear tree in our yard. It was a recommendation from someone 'in the know'. We spend 11 months of the year complaining about that recommendation. It hasn't served it's privacy purpose. It hasn't grown to nearly the height we expected and doesn't fit with our original plan. It would work so much better in a completely different spot (except for the whole moving a tree part).

But in the May month, for the whole month, there isn't a single word of complaint. That's the month when I just sit back and appreciate what this 'doesn't fit with the plan' beauty has to offer.

Letting go of a few plans and just watching what appears.
