"A pinch and a punch for the first of the month"

After several days of being sick, and several months of kids underfoot, this was going to be a post about the excitement and propects that come with the first day of September.

A month to get back to routine, back to school, back to running, back to organizing. A month to attack all of the things that have been set aside with the free-wheeling ebb and flow of summer days.

Today was the day that I woke up early, worked out, made a plan for the day. Today was the day that would start September as I mean to continue.

Then around 10:30 someone told me it was August 31. Wow - starting September a day early is either a testament to just how excited I am OR an indication of just how scattered I've become.

I think I'll spend the afternoon knitting on the back deck. And since I hate posting without a picture let's all 'let it slide'.
